Expression Number — Your Child's Life Role Through Their Name

If the Life Path is the fixed roadmap, the Expression Number is the role the name assigns. It's the most important index parents CAN choose — and the factor MiKiName weights most heavily (×3) in the name scoring formula.

Calculation

The Expression Number is computed from every letter of the full name. Each letter has a value from 1-9 per the Pythagorean table:

Example for the name "Nguyễn Minh Khôi":

After stripping Vietnamese diacritics → NGUYEN MINH KHOI:

• NGUYEN = 5+7+3+7+5+5 = 32 → 5
• MINH = 4+9+5+8 = 26 → 8
• KHOI = 2+8+6+9 = 25 → 7
• Sum: 5+8+7 = 20 → 2

→ The child has Expression Number 2 — a mission of mediation, cooperation, diplomacy.

Technical note: MiKiName follows Hans Decoz's per-word reduction method — reduce each word first, then sum. This matters because it preserves master numbers within individual words.
